Tourist shuttle and water transport project

This is a pilot project for the setting of a boat, running on photovoltaic solar energy, which will serve at first for boat trips and guided tours on the lake. At a later stage, it will be backed up with new boats so as to facilitate public transport network through a water transport line across the Tunis North Lake; linking, thus, the city center ( Tunis-Marine) to the eastern end of the lake (Kheireddine – Kram) with service stops for the Berges du Lac residential quarters. The project provides for the development of four stops and docks and wharves for passenger boarding, one of which will be ready when the boat is brought into service.
